The Isle of Jura Fell Race - 25 May 2013
Locals and visitors alike race over 7 peaks including all 3 of the Pas of Jura. Racers climb (and descend) 2370m starting from Craighouse at 10:30. It is quite a spectacle watching runners descenmd the scree covered hillsides.
Somehow competitors still have the energy to dance into the night at the traditional after race ceilidh at Jura Hall - why not join them?

Jura 10K and half marathon - July 2013
Competitors set off from Jura Hall, racing to Corran sands and back. While not quite as daunting as the Fell Race, the Jura 10K still boasts fantastic scenery along the shore side route. Join the competitors, Diùrachs and visitors, for an afternoon BBQ at the village hall.
Ardlussa Sports - July 2013
The annual sports day includes the tug o’ war, the hammer throw and the tattie and spoon race - there’s fun to be had for adults and kids alike. If you’d rather not work up a sweat then why not take advantage of the food and drink on offer and join us for a ceilidh in the Jura Hall at night.
Jura Regatta - August 2013
With events ranging from the more traditional open water swim and sailing to the raft race, which sees competitors in fancy dress build their own vessels, there's something for everyone. Will you take the plunge? Join us afterwards at the village hall for the obligatory BBQ.
Jura Music Festival
27th-29th September 2013
This year is the 20th annual Jura Music Festival featuring locals and professionals performing side by side. There's a variety of workshops on offer to develop your musical skills or just come and enjoy some of the top names from the Scottish traditional music scene.
You can travel back home with the Jura Passenger Ferry after the festival on
Monday 30th September & Tuesday 1st October.
